Playing piano since 4 years old, her passion in music has never left. She hears sounds that are uniquely to her own. In this life to the world of sounds, she interprets everything she hears, real and imaginary, and shares her story and interpretation through music.
Kitty Pae started hearing voices in her early 20s and writes music as a way of therapy. There is a need of sharing her journey of life and to help connect people similarly to her.
"I want people to know I am who I am, and no one can take that away from me. Hence, my songs are truly my diaries, a reflection of my feelings - a reflection of my life and I want to share them."
Kitty Pae has gained multiple music scholarships including at Vanderbilt's Blair School of Music in Nashville and holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Using her technical skills, she combines this with her classical training in music theory & composition to support her unique creativity in songwriting and production.
She works in the renowned GRAMMY winning studio and producer James Cravero at East Coast Recording Company in Warminster, Pennsylvania (USA).
"My music is simple and somehow I desire to make a meaningful connection."
